How it all started...
The Journey of Faith
Janson Abraham was born and raised in a ministerial home; his family has been serving the Lord for the last 40 years in India. He was dedicated to the kingdom before he was born, as God spoke to his parents.
He received his calling from the Lord in his early childhood. It has been two decades since he began fulfilling his calling as a full-time minister. In 1999, God called him to full-time ministry, and he came to the United States in 2006, responding to the call to attend Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from the Advanced Leadership and Pastoral School in 2008.
In 2008, God called him to the city of Corpus Christi, TX, and directed the future vision of his life and ministry, leading him through many storms that seemed impossible. In the year 2009, God spoke to him to step in faith and to girdle himself in faith for the great commission, as a result of which Kingdom Acts Ministries International was birthed. He is the founder/ president of Kingdom Acts, a Great Commission and apostolic movement. He is also the founding pastor of Harvest Tabernacle International Church, Corpus Christi, TX.
God has called him to the nations with a kingdom mission: a mission to be a voice of God in America and to the countries of this world. When God called him, He gave him specific direction with a particular purpose. God called him a Nehemiah of this generation to be a restorer and builder of the broken spiritual walls of nations. God has called him to raise the broken altars in the life of every individual, family, and city. His calling is to serve God by speaking His heart to this generation. He is anointed to be an encourager to the distressed, a helping hand to the fallen, a light in the darkness, a server of the poor and needy, and to seek the lost. Pastor Janson believes that to function fruitfully in the kingdom of God, one needs to love the King and serve the King, as well as love the people and serve them. He is an ordinary man with an extraordinary God at work in his life.
He is the husband of his bride, Ms. Teena Janson; they were married in India on June 11, 2011. Together, they have two children: Asher and Benjamin.

Expanding the vision...
The Mantle
Our Vision is to fulfill the great commission of the kingdom of God.
Have you wondered why we are a church?
Every journey in nature has a purpose; similarly, the journey of faith begins with a vision. It has to be a vision from God. The vision from God is the driving force in our covenant journey. It starts here on earth but ends in eternity. It is a connecting point between the visible and the invisible.
This is the birthing scripture of Harvest Tabernacle. This is the Word that the Lord spoke to me, where the vision of Harvest Tabernacle International Church was birthed in prayer.
Birthing Scripture 1
Psalm 50: 4-6
He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that He may judge His people: “Gather My saints together to Me, Those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.” Let the heavens declare His righteousness, For God Himself is Judge."
This is the reason we began this journey together as a body of believers, gathering the saints —those who have made a covenant with God through sacrifice.
We have made a covenant with God, the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, to build on the cornerstone what God the Father has laid as the foundation of this earth.
We exist as a partner in the advancement of the kingdom of God with the other churches that co-labor in the plentiful harvest of souls.
Partner with this vision to learn the journey of the covenant.
Pastor Janson Abraham
Birthing Scripture 2
Jeremiah 6:16 (NKJV)
16 Thus says the Lord: “Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’
As we live in a globalized world, everything is in constant flux. With globalization, we have forgotten the ancient paths of the covenant that God established with humanity. We are living in a generation where many declare their foundation on a false existence, ignoring the foundations of life.
God is calling us to lead and teach a generation to the foundation of the covenant of the word of God, to return to the old path to the cross of Calvary, where there is redemption and remission to the broken souls.
We believe that God has answers for every brokenness in your life because God already became the answer for the broken world through CHRIST JESUS, even before the foundation of the earth was laid. The scripture says the lamb was slain before the foundation of the earth.
Birthing Scripture 3
Matthew 9:17 (NKJV)
17 Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
We are tired of being the old wine skin; we are not saying that we hate the old wine skin. The old wine skin was good and very useful when it was new in that generation, but the tradition, rituals, and wicked intentions of the human heart have destroyed the purity of its existence. The world's system has contaminated the old wineskin. We desire renewal and revival in our spirit by the spirit of the living God.
We are not a conventional church, but we are hungry for the fresh breath of God to breathe upon our city and the churches at large.
We desire to be a new wine skin to receive new and experience the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in this generation.
The revelation of the cross and the revelation of the resurrected Christ should be new every day. It is the newness of life. We choose to become new so that God can birth something new through us.
Harvest Tabernacle is a place where you can break the strongholds of religion and have a fresh encounter with the cross, the shed blood on the Cross, and the revelation of Christ Jesus.
Birthing Scripture 4
Joel 2:28-29
28 “And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.
29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.
We are living in a generation where feminism and machismo are fighting against each other in the name of gender equality.
No one in the world can treat anyone with equality other than God the Father. God of the bible is the only one who equally imparts gifts to sons and daughters, not neglecting each other.
Because God is the originator of human gender as male and female, he is the only one who can take the brokenness of sins in these two genders and make something new with their lives.
Church is the only place where there is true spiritual impartation equally without any partiality. God is a good father with equal rights.
Harvest Tabernacle is a place where sons and daughters are birthed and raised for the advancement of the kingdom. We desire to raise sons and daughters of the kingdom in this generation that will impact the next until the coming of our Lord.
Birthing Scripture 5
Isaiah 2:2-3 (NKJV)
2 Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the Lord’s house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And all nations shall flow to it.
3 Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
Christ Jesus came to this world to establish the kingdom of the Father on earth. He came to restore, rebuild, and develop the house of God as a house of prayer for all nations.
Jesus did not come to restore any other political or social mountain of society. He came to establish the mountain of the Lord's house above the hills of the world system. The scripture says all nations shall flow to it.
We are preparing for a spiritual famine that is becoming more evident in this generation and a spiritual hunger that is going to be born. Still, many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.”
Every false altar that is raised on the mountains is going to crumble, but true altars of God are going to be restored and rebuilt on the mountain of God.

Where we are headed...
One Church, Two Mandates
The Nehemiah Mandate calls us to rebuild the walls and restore the gates of our own city — strengthening families, discipling believers, and transforming Corpus Christi.
The Antioch Mandate calls us to be a sending hub — empowered by the Spirit, raising leaders, and sending missionaries to the nations.
Together, they form the full call of HTIC:
Rebuild locally.
Send globally.
Pray continually.
Serve faithfully.
Advance the Kingdom boldly.
I. The Nehemiah Mandate
Rebuild • Restore • Revive • Resource • Reach
The mandate that the Lord has entrusted us is in the pattern of Nehemiah of this generation to be a restorer and builder of the broken spiritual walls of nations. God has called us to restore the broken altars in the lives of individuals, families, and cities. This is a regional vision, not just a gathering of believers to worship in a local assembly.
At Harvest Tabernacle International Church (HTIC), we embrace the Nehemiah Mandate—a biblical pattern for citywide transformation that begins with prayerful burden, moves through courageous rebuilding, and culminates in a worship-saturated community living under God’s Word. Like Nehemiah, we are called to repair broken places, restore families, and revive a people for the glory of God in Corpus Christi and beyond (Nehemiah 1–13).
Scriptural Foundations of the Nehemiah Mandate
A Holy Burden & Intercession (Neh. 1:3–11) :
We carry God’s heart for our city, responding first with fasting, confession, and persistent prayer.
Vision & Mobilization (Neh. 2:17–18):
We cast a clear, faith-filled vision and invite every household to “rise and build.”
Every Family on the Wall (Neh. 3):
Rebuilding is a shared effort—each family takes its place to repair the portion in front of them.
Watch & Work (Neh. 4:17–20):
We labor with tools in one hand and spiritual vigilance in the other—prayer, unity, and wise strategy.
Unwavering Focus (Neh. 6:3):
We resist distractions: “We are doing great work and cannot come down.”
Word, Worship & Renewal (Neh. 8–9):
We gather around Scripture, respond in repentance, and renew our covenant with joyful and reverent worship.
Justice, Integrity & Ongoing Reform (Neh. 5; 12–13):
We pursue holiness, financial integrity, compassionate justice, and sustainable systems that reflect God's honor.
Our Mandate in Five Movements
Rebuild – Strengthen spiritual foundations: houses of prayer, discipleship pathways, next-gen formation, and healthy leadership culture.
Restore – Heal families and the brokenhearted; rebuild trust through pastoral care, counseling, and community compassion (Isa. 58).
Revive – Cultivate a habitation for God’s presence through prayer, fasting, worship, and the Word—expecting renewal, gifts of the Spirit, and transformed lives.
Resource – Equip every believer to serve: leadership development, vocational discipleship, and practical training that turns calling into impact (Eph. 4:11–13).
Reach – Proclaim Jesus boldly across the South Coast and to the nations through evangelism, missions, and strategic partnerships.
What This Looks Like Week to Week
House of Prayer Rhythm: Daily/weekly prayer sets, Scripture-fed intercession, and worship that anchors everything we build (Neh. 1; 4).
Word-Centered Discipleship: Classes, small groups, and Kingdom Acts Discipleship School that form mature, missional believers (Neh. 8).
Family at the Wall: Marriage, youth, and children’s ministries discipling households to “repair the gates” of their homes (Neh. 3).
Mercy & Justice: Compassion initiatives, benevolence, and community restoration that confronts exploitation and lifts the vulnerable (Neh. 5).
City Partnership: Collaborative service with local churches and organizations to seek the peace of our city (Jer. 29:7).
Our Distinctives
Presence-Driven: We prioritize God’s presence over programs—revival unto reformation.
Prayer-First Strategy: Intercession precedes action; fasting calibrates our decisions.
Whole-Life Discipleship: Formation for spirit, soul, body, relationships, and work.
Integrity & Accountability: Transparent stewardship and team-based leadership (Neh. 7; 12–13).
Generational Vision: We build with sons and daughters in mind—legacy, not just activity.
How You Can “Take Your Place on the Wall”
Pray: Join a prayer set and adopt a weekly watch.
Serve: Repair a “gate” through a ministry team or outreach.
Learn: Enroll in discipleship courses and leadership intensives.
Give: Invest resources to strengthen the work and serve the city.
Go: Participate in local evangelism and global missions.
Our Heart for Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend Region
We believe God is rebuilding the “walls” of worship, the “gates” of family, and the “streets” of justice in our city. The Nehemiah Mandate is our yes to God’s blueprint—so that Corpus Christi becomes a testimony of restored ruins, renewed covenant, and rejoicing in the goodness of God (Neh. 12:43; Isa. 61:4).
“Let us rise up and build.” (Nehemiah 2:18)
II . The Antioch Mandate
From Jerusalem to Antioch: The Mandate of Empowerment and Sending
The Antioch Mandate cannot be understood apart from Jerusalem. Jerusalem was the place where the disciples received the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. As Jesus instructed: “But tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high” (Luke 24:49). Again He declared: “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8).
Once the Spirit descended on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1–4), the disciples were launched into their mission. From Jerusalem, the Gospel spread to Judea and Samaria, and then began its journey to the ends of the earth. When persecution later scattered the believers (Acts 8:1–4; Acts 11:19–21), Antioch became the first great apostolic hub— the beginning of the end of the world, a global sending center where the Holy Spirit commissioned prophets, teachers, and missionaries to bring about a worldwide awakening (Acts 13:1–3).
Scriptural Foundations of the Antioch Mandate
Jerusalem Empowerment (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1–4):
The disciples received the Holy Spirit and the mandate to witness globally.
Expansion Through Scattering (Acts 8:1–4; 11:19–21):
Persecution scattered believers, leading to evangelism beyond Jewish communities.
Antioch Diversity & Growth (Acts 11:20–26):
Jews and Gentiles worshiped together, and “the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.”
Apostolic Sending (Acts 13:1–3):
Prophets and teachers, fasting and ministering to the Lord, heard the Spirit’s call to send Paul and Barnabas.
Global Mission (Acts 14–28):
Antioch became the launchpad for missionary journeys that transformed the known world.
The Antioch Mandate at HTIC
Empowered by the Spirit in Prayer & Worship
Like Jerusalem, we wait before the Lord until clothed with His power. Every sending movement begins in the place of prayer, fasting, and worship.
Diversity in Unity
Antioch modeled a multiethnic, multicultural body of Christ. We celebrate the beauty of every tribe, every tongue, every nation, and culture in Corpus Christi, becoming one family in Christ.
Prophetic Discernment & Apostolic Sending
As Antioch laid hands on Paul and Barnabas, we raise, recognize, and release apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers (Eph. 4:11–13).
Mission to the Nations
From Corpus Christi to the ends of the earth, we embrace the Antioch vision to send missionaries, plant churches, and equip Kingdom leaders.
A Hub for Global Awakening
Just as Antioch became the center for the significant expansion of the church, we believe HTIC is called to be a hub for revival, missions, and city transformation.
Distinctives of the Antioch Mandate
Jerusalem Power, Antioch Mission:
We receive the Spirit’s fire at “Jerusalem” and carry it with us as Antioch people.
Spirit-Led Sending:
Our missionaries and leaders go out by the Spirit’s call, not human ambition.
Generational Equipping:
Sons and daughters are equipped and empowered in the ministry of the Gospel, mission, worship, teaching, and service.
Citywide & Global Vision:
We labor for Corpus Christi and the regional transformation while engaging in global missions.
Our Vision
From Jerusalem (empowerment) to Antioch (sending), Harvest Tabernacle International Church embraces the biblical blueprint for revival and mission. We are called to be both a house of prayer where the Spirit fills His people, and an apostolic hub that sends them into the nations.
“As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, ‘Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.’ Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away.” — Acts 13:2–3
The Antioch Mandate calls us to be a sending hub — empowered by the Spirit, raising leaders, and sending missionaries to the nations.
Together, they form the full call of HTIC:

“As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, ‘Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.’ Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away.” — Acts 13:2–3
