Beyond You Deserve - “The Right To Expect More”

Matthew 22:1-14

Somebody's Arrogance Will Set You Up For More Than You Deserve

The believer's constructive thought pattern

1. Everything We Need In Life Already Exists In God

2. Someone is looking for me with an opportunity that exceeds my qualifications.

3. Somebody's rejection will become my God given opportunity

Four things the street people did not do to receive what they did not deserve:

1. They had no revelation of the impending blessings.

2. They did not work hard to be invited by the king.

3. They knew nobody (no connections) in the palace.

4. They did not need to understand “royal ethics” to be invited by the king.

Receiving what you don't deserve is God’s desire for those who will dare to believe.

Receiving what we deserve in life is for both the saved and the unsaved.

If God wanted the ungodly to have more blessings than they deserve, how much more His children?

God gives both good and evil more than they deserve.

If God wanted the ungodly to have more blessings than they deserve, how much more His children?

Matthew 5:45

How to be ready for more than you deserve in life?

1. Start expecting unbelievable opportunities daily

2. Remember, God can change your life in the shortest possible time.

3. Start feeling like you deserve the blessings before they arrive.

4. Learn to keep your mouth shut when receiving what you don't deserve.

5. Receiving does not always require explanation or understanding.

6. Be prepared to be blessed beyond your hard work and qualifications.

7. Sheepishly receive the blessings!

“That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.”

Confession 1:

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord, I ask for forgiveness for thinking less of me than you think of me. Forgive me for settling for what I deserve, rather than more than I deserve in Christ Jesus.

I realize that the right to have more than I deserve is a privilege for everyone, including me.

Confession 2:

Forgive me for not dreaming as big as you intend for me to dream. Forgive me for living like the guest who refused to aspire for the best. All of these I confess in Jesus' name, amen.

Confession 3:

Today, I mentally and spiritually accept the invitation to receive more than I deserve in Jesus' name, amen.

Confession 4:

Lord Jesus, from today on, my attitude is changed toward receiving from you, by grace, I can accept what I did not deserve.

Confession 5:

The word is out: I deserve more, more than I can ever work for or qualify for, in Jesus' name, amen.

Confession 6:

The word is out, more than I deserve is coming into my life in 2025. I will work hard and smart, guided by the Holy Spirit, to receive all that God has for me in 2025. All these I declare in Jesus' name, amen.
